Plan a school visit
How to book a program
Bookings are essential for all school groups visiting the Library.
You can book a free self-guided trail or a facilitated program online by visiting our school programs.
Once you have selected your program, follow the steps to book a time and date to attend. You can book a program up to four weeks prior to your visit.
Book as early as possible to ensure availability of programs, especially for large groups.
Preparing for your visit
Students remain the responsibility of teachers at all times.
For self guided trails a 1:10 teacher to student ratio is recommended, with adult supervision required per group, for Year 7 and younger.
Please be mindful of other visitors during your visit.
By registering to attend or purchasing a ticket to a State Library Victoria event, you agree to our Conditions of Entry.
State Library Victoria is accessible to everyone and welcoming to all. We are committed to being a Child Safe Organisation.
